Pink Floyd The Wall (Red Foil Edition)

The Wall Live was performed just 31 times in four cities: Los Angeles (7 shows), Uniondale (5), Dortmund (8) and London (11). The tour  consisted of 18 shows in L.A., Uniondale and London in 1980, but the band performed a further eight shows in Dortmund (February 13–20, 1981) and five more shows at Earl’s Court (June 13–17, 1981) for filming, with the intention of integrating the shows into the upcoming movie Pink Floyd : The Wall. These shows at Earl's Court would be the final time Pink Floyd's classic four-man lineup of Roger Waters, David Gilmour, Nick Mason, and Richard Wright shared a stage until their brief reunion 24 years later at Live 8. 

Now upon the forty-fifth anniversary of these historic performances, we are excited to present Collectionzz's officially licensed fine art prints by David Seidman celebrating these final performances of The Wall by Waters, Gilmour, Mason, and Wright!

"When I was asked to create a poster for Pink Floyd’s 1981 performance of The Wall, my biggest challenge was creating a fresh perspective on the iconic white wall. In addition to being a fan of Pink Floyd’s incredible storytelling on The Wall, I’m also a massive fan of the surrealist design group Hypgnosis, who were frequent visual collaborators with the band. As a result, my goal with this poster was to blend the main character Pink’s internal struggle with the recognizable imagery of the white wall, offering a surrealistic tribute to this historic performance.” -David Seidman
