“From the moment i got the invitation to do a Black Sabbath poster, as a fan holding the band in highest regards and being aware of the impact and influence they've had and still do the responsibility and excitement filled with stress to take upon such a task was at the highest. The "Henry" logo is such an recognizable silhouette and inseparable part of the bands visual identity that i wanted to keep the shape as closest as possible to the original but try and give it just a slightly fresh look and a touch of my own. For me he is the visual interpretation of the band, just like the Light-bringer, it feels like they came and brought illumination upon all and everything. I wanted to try and depict just that, Henry coming down the sky tearing down clouds and carrying that light whilst his movement and presence make this everlasting rippling effect all over which you still feel to this day.”
