Details
What can be said about the incredible Jennifer Dionisio that hasn't already been said by various journalists, collectors and critics? She is among the finest illustrators at capturing the heart and soul of her subject, going beyond photo realism and entering into what she has described as "heightened realism."
In creating our latest fine art print for David Bowie, she referred to this iconic Mick Rock photograph of Bowie, but has made it completely her own. Heightened reality. This visual masterpiece captures your attention immediately, from Bowie’s attentive glare to the intricate details and shadows in David’s clothing, it is truly a striking example of art going beyond photo realism. If you are familiar with Jennifer's art, you know immediately this is her work, which is a special gift not often achieved.
Thank you to the David Bowie team and management for their incredibly kind support. We are incredibly honored and excited to bring this project to life with Jennifer.

The Story Behind
Just prior to the last encore number Bowie stepped up to the microphone and announced "Everybody... this has been on of the greatest tours of our lives. I would like to thank the band. I would like to thank the road crew. I would like to think our lighting people. Of all the shows on this tour, this particular show will remain with us the longest because not only is it... not only is it the last show of the tour, but its the last show that we'll ever do. Thank you"
