The tour  consisted of 18 shows in L.A., Uniondale and London in 1980, but the band performed a further eight shows in Dortmund (February \u003cmeta charset=\"utf-8\"\u003e13–20, 1981) and five more shows at Earl’s Court (June \u003cmeta charset=\"utf-8\"\u003e13–17, 1981) for filming, with the intention of integrating the shows into the upcoming movie Pink Floyd : The Wall. In addition to being a fan of Pink Floyd’s incredible storytelling on \u003c\/span\u003e\u003ci class=\"\"\u003eThe Wall\u003c\/i\u003e\u003cspan\u003e, I’m also a massive fan of the surrealist design group Hypgnosis, who were frequent visual collaborators with the band.
